Welcome

There had to be a better bike design but “we’ve always done it this way”, slowed new thinking for far too long. Now, “Feet Forward” (FF) bikes bring a whole new, and much better, slant on things.

Developed by RANS, an innovative aircraft manufacturer, the concept introduces a radical new frame geometry, which moves the cyclist’s feet forward, with the seat slightly further back and lower to the ground. The lower seat, which lowers the centre of gravity and puts the rider more upright, means less of a reach to the pavement. The overall result brings different, much more human friendly, dynamics into play. The more upright torso relieves pressure on the hands, wrists, back and neck – problem areas for many who would love to cycle or who have cycled and suffered in the past – the energy transfer is efficient, the lower centre of gravity and slightly longer wheelbase make the bikes more stable and it is really nice to stop with confidence and easily reach the ground with both feet flat.
