Because of the dramatically slanted seat tube the frame grows in length as the seat is raised. Owners can share the bike among many sized riders. Of course sizing has its limits and riders less than 5’ may need to consider the more laid back of the four models, the Fusion and Cruz. These two models seem to favour the shorter riders since the seat tube angle is more laid back, allowing flat-footed stance at proper seat height.
No learning curve
Riding a FF bike is natural. People who have once learned to ride any bike will almost certainly find that they can ride with confidence straight away. New riders will need to go through the brief familiarisation process but in a much safer, and some say easier, way than with old-style bikes – with the lower centre of gravity and flat-footed stance contributing to the fine riding qualities. You simply set the seat height and tilt and ride.
