The Seat
This is, perhaps, the first and most obvious sign that this bike is different. To offer more ergonomic support, something had to change and it is often what attracts people to the bike. The tilt allows the seat to support the buttocks over a wider area and not interfere with pedalling motion. The seat is quite wide and fitted with a dense foam cushion and fabric, designed to allow the rider some grip, to feel more ‘attached’ to the bike. It is not an ordinary bike seat pumped up in size, this is an integrally designed, purpose-built, seat that actually contributed to the design of the frame geometry. The seat is also tilt and height adjustable - both through quick release levers, so it is easy to ‘dial in’ the right fit. The seat tube is large in diameter with a groove machined into the seat post, and a key on the seat clamp to keep the seat from rotating and making it simple to adjust since it is always lined up level.
